commonly known as “Keshraja
” prevent premature graying makes hair healthy, long and thick and even adds color to your hair.Similarly one can make use of Shikakai
( cinchona) and reetha
for hair wash.Neem
is antibacterial, antifungal and clears dandruff whereas commonly used heena acts as a conditioner and colourant.Meethi
leaves rich in iron content when applied as paste prevents hair loss.Marigold
too reduces hair loss.Aloe vera
can be used for massaging, it clears dandruff and increases the blood circulation thus increases the growth of the hair.Camphor
although not an herb is good for the treatment of dandruff. It can be applied on the scalp by mixing it in coconut oil and you can get rid of lice too.Here’s a tip for a home –made herbal oil that you can use: Take coconut oil or sesame oil and mix this oil with fresh, dry or powdered herbs, soaked in just enough of water to cover. Boil the herbs in the oil, cool and store and use it when required.
