Pollution- a problem –remedies and implementation
Man’s tampering of natural resources, in his quest for supremacy, causes pollution, one of the most serious problems faced by mankind today. So, he has remedy this, to save himself from the wrath of the environment.
The best man can do under the circumstances, is to start with the conservation of natural resources. He can avoid depletion of these resources by using renewable energy sources, for eg, solar energy. Another problem of pollution is waste disposal. Recycling of materials, segregation of wet and dry wastes, and using biodegradable products can remedy this. Vehicular pollution, which is the major cause of various health hazards, can be remedied by the use of pollution free fuels, pool cars or using public transport
The governments of all countries must initiate certain pollution control measures by the implementation of certain rules. . Regular PUC monitoring, use of unleaded petrol, use of pool cars or public transport, segregation of wastes, and recycling should be made compulsory. Some of these implementations will go a long way in controlling pollution.
