After Zheng Chenggong defeats Holland and recovers Taiwan, nearly 200,000 migrants become the main stream of Taiwan. Chinese culture spreads quickly in Taiwan, and makes Taiwan's culture close to the Fujian's culture, which forms the base for the development of Min-Tai district culture. At that time, Chinese people centralize at the prairie of the western part of Taiwan, and Chinese culture mainly spreads at this part, but the further development of Chinese culture is hampered by the division of Taiwan and Chinese mainland and the continuous migration from Chinese mainland. So the two parts' culture has in some degree difference. Shi Lang unifies Taiwan, and promotes that Taiwan remains in China, and clear the blocks of development between Taiwan and China. With the great surge into Taiwan, Chinese mainland, especially Fujian's language culture, the thought of Confucian School, religious belief and customs spread all parts of Taiwan, and Taiwan' culture and Fujian' culture become congruence, which finally form the common cultural district. The identity of the culture is the key factor for that of the ethnic groups. Shi Lang' contribution and positive function on Min-Tai district culture should be affirmed.
