This study presents a
characteristics analysis to the response of
soil spectrum result from organic material . Eight kinds
of soil samples were collected including variations in conditions. The reflectivity spectral line of each soil layer in soil samples were measured with the VF991 Ground-body Spectrograph in the 372.1 nm~1059.75 nm range with approximately 1.35nm, and the content of organic material of each soil layer were measured using Qiu ling technique. The study for
soil spectrum and spectral
characteristics is one of important basic methods in quantitative remote sensing. Spectrum data and the content of organic material are firstly analyzed using different techniques, and in the end the relationship was studied between the content of organic material and soil spectrum. Result shows that the content of organic material is strongly correlative with absorption features of soil spectrum in ultraviolet wave band (around 376.795 nm), visible radiation wave band (around 616.506 nm ) , and infra red wave band (around 724.0975 nm).
