On the basis of experiment and demonstration in 2001, experiments and 200ha of demonstration were carried out to search
the effect of
special biology compound fertilizer on soil improvement, prevention and cure of pollution, increasing yield and improving quality in six townships of Puding county in 2002. The results showed that the rice yields of treatment A and B, which were applied with 50 kg of special biology compound fertilizer as base fertilizer and 2 kg of growth regulator called Duoxiaoqi as supplemental fertilizer,were
respectively increased by 31.1% and 18.6% compared with the contrast treatment C, the product values of A and B increased by 2212 yuan/ha and 1732 yuan/ha compared with treatment C. The yield and product value of the demonstration area increased by 23.8% and 1687 yuan/ha comared with CK respectively. The pH value and organic matter content of the tested soil, and contents of P, K and crude protein in rice seed all were improved after applying special biological compound fertilizer.
