To counter the acute competetion after entering into WTO,this paper points out the existing problems of the soil and fertilizer
technology in Fujian,from the angle of improving farm product quantity and quality.To combine with the reality of Fujian,it puts forward definitly the proposals as follows,transforming thoughts,renewing concept;reforming the system of fertilizer
management,ensuring the source of funds on
scientific research in soil and fertilizer,etc.As for scientific research,it needs to take the measures such as enforcing the study of regional soil fertility transmutation law,establishing the technology of soil management under various ecological conditions,further developing the study of agricultural precision nutrient management and balanced fertilization technology to promote the even increase of yield on farmland,enchancing the study and use of special fertilizer for crops and new type fertilizer formulation,paying more attention to studying on the relationship between application fertilizer and human health,and so on.
