Usualy cultured tubifex harvested with its mud. Tubifex then washed using flowing fresh water.
Its easy to do
when
harvesting in litle amount. But when harvesting in a large amount, this ways are sugested.
Mixture of tubifex with mud placed on
container which have wide surface. This mixture spreaded with 2 cm thick. Add water for 1 cm then cover with black plastic sheet. Let this mixture for a night.
After a night tubifex was separated from mud. Tubifex on the top, and mud on the bottom.
