Little Leaf is a serious mycoplasmal disease of Brinjal.Usually, the leaves will be small and yellowing occurs leading to stunted growth of plants.Yield reduction occurs ,sometimes no yield at all.Control is done by removing the affected plants.Periodical showers with Malathion at the rate of 2ml/litre of water until the fruit set proves useful in avoiding disease infection.Among the disease of Brinjal this is the most serious one.In normal cases the shortage of Brinjal yield is due to this mycoplasmal disease. In appearance, ,we feel that the symptoms are like viral infection,as there is similarity between the two.Among all mycoplasmal diseases Little leaf of Brinjal is the very common one .
