Impress is the word constantly strikes a man’s brain while talking
to a beautiful woman; the same is not true for a woman, revealed a research study in the Netherlands.
Why men try to impress beautiful women is also been told in the study result. According to the
researchers, men are by birth inquisitive about women, as they look for opportunities to mate with women. Again, the same is not true for women.
To define women, the study has used words like pretty and beautiful, making the perception clear that men try to impress beautiful and pretty women more than ugly women do. Once they start talking with pretty women, they leave aside or forget works in hand because they lose their minds to the women in the talking process. For impressing the woman in question, a man utilizes his brain functions related to thoughts, and ultimately other works are neglected, reported the Daily Telegraph.
Forty volunteers were taken in the study group, and the researchers conducted a memory test with fast moving letters. Then, they were allowed to interact with a male or female member of the study group. Again, the same memory test was conducted without changing any parameters. The researchers found that men became slower after chatting with women. Therefore, the proximity in an attractive female companion made men perform worse than before.
The tests that were chosen are said to be designed to measure brain functions related to thoughts. The study detail was published in the Journal of Experimental and Social Psychology, and was carried out by the researchers of Radboud University, the Netherlands.
