The Earth, the Sea and the Sky are three very different things but without them we wouldn’t be able to live. We (kids) know so little about them and that is why ‘Kingfisher, Tell Me About books’ made it. It is beautifully illustrated and the diagrams were drawn with care. The topics are explained clearly and the subjects in great detail. This book is part of a really big series and I have reviewed another one so look out for it; it’s called Sun, Stars and Planets. Here is a sample question: ‘How are waterfalls made?’ this page has got diagrams (to go with it, it has numbering and good captions too), a fact box with special focused facts, and a comparison picture. The pages are set out different with normally one area per page but on some there are two. I would rate this book 7/ 10 because it is good but it could have been a tiny bit better to get it a higher rating.
