Imagine what would happen in 20 years’ time?
Firstly, we would like to dedicate this article to our parents, English teachers, Ms. Fulcher and Ms. Mulcahy who inspired us in writing for newspapers and magazines.
Imagine! Just imagine! In 20 year’s time everything would change, won’t it? Babies would become teenagers, teenagers would become senior citizens and adults would be on their death beds (no offence)! But not only these things would take place, there are other fascinating and scary events which are going to come up.
For example:
Kids won’t have any outdoor activities, what else can you expect? There is surely going to be a Play Station 10!
Men and women would become extremely fat and obese, let me guess? Hmmm…… that would be because even if they are in a park or garden, they would be traveling with batteries and motors.
Petrol, natural gas, coal and oil might get over; we might have to work on sunflower and peanut oil!!!
Trees, animals, plants, whales, fish, coral reefs, fresh water, forests and other natural things would become less visible.
More carbon dioxide would become more visible making the sky black and dirty.
Logging and destroying trees would go on till the whole particular forest would be completely washed out.
Flying cars would be invented. You see, the airplanes did not fill the sky with as mush as gas emissions as they could so they introduced Flying Cars to continue the legacy and fill the little remaining air left for us to breathe.
There would be waterproof, shockproof, scratchproof everything, like mobiles, cameras, laptops, i-pods, i-phones and other electronic gadgets.
We might discover aliens! They might not be friendly to us and we might have to have a war or something!
There might be World Wars 4, 5 and 6. No wonder countries would be fighting for water, oil, crops and oxygen!
Phewww!! Now at least all of you have the slightest idea of how are future would end up. You all know that there will be a disastrous impact on our Planet, but still you’ll be sitting with a sweet yam as long as no one snatches it away from your mouths. We are the future of our generation. We cannot change our past but we can control our future. Spread the message High and low as far as you can. It’s for the good of us. It’s for the good of Mother Earth.
