In today’s world people make acquisitions of world’s end on 2012 but they never try to avoid the distress that we are offering on our environment. The major portion of environment distress is due to our ever growing use of technologies that are causing an immense amount of pollution and the only alternative to avoid it is GREEN TECHNOLOGY.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY is the alternative of already existing technology that is more efficient and causes less pollution and environmental problems. There are two types of sources renewable and non renewable sources. Renewable sources are one that can be used again and again but non renewable are non that can not be used like petrol and coal. The Green Technology is developed to preserve the non renewable sources. Some of the green technologies came in the form of battery operated cars, hydrogen cells, solar cells etc. Green technology has been used since old days in the form of wind mills and water tires, so claiming it to be a totally new addition to the technological world would be wrong.

Some of the latest additions to these technologies were polyvinyl chloride which is a substitute of leather as the process of manufacture of leather is a very polluting process. Similar additions were the invention of solar cells and dams. Running water a gift of god which was being ruined by us came to be used a source of electricity. Even in earlier times it was used in water mill to grind grains.

Thirst for new technology has always been the hunger of man kind and this hunger made the invention of GREEN TECHNOLOGY. In these early stages, it is impossible to say what GREEN TECHNOLOGY may encompass but we are sure that one day this new technology would bring a new era in the field of transport and in our everyday life. With this technology people will not only save their present but also there future generations. Development of new sources of energy will deviate the pressure from present existing non renewable sources and in turn will create a much more healthy environment.
