glaciers in Himalayas are fast receding and the glaciers there may shrink to one fifth of the size, there by endangering the lives of 1.3 billion people.
people of the affected region have to
join together on war footing and take measures that slow down the melting. Otherwise, Himalayas will remain only in old photographs and history books. With this melt down, the fate of more than a billion people will be at stake. They must atleast now forget the differences that divide them and join together to face this huge common threat together.
