Asia is the largest of the Earth's seven continents lies the northern hemisphere. It cover estimated 44,936,000 sq. kilometers or 1/3 of the world total land area. The continent's greatest width from east to west is 8,500 kilometers {5,300 miles}. The lowest and highest points on the earth's surface are in Asia, namely the shore of the Dead Sea, and Mt. Everest {8,850 meters 29,035 feet above sea level}. Host to various culture, land formations and climate. Plains and valleys in Asia supply the world with agricultural products. Some of these found along the Indus-Ganges in North India, along the Huang Ho, Yangtze and Amur Rivers in China, the Chao Pharaya River valley in Thailand, Irawaddy and Salween River Valley in Myanmar and the plain of Central Luzon, and Koronadal in the Philippines. Almost all the Founders of the World's greatest religions also lived in Asia. These include Moses, Zoraster, Buddha, Jesus Christ and Mohammed.
