layer protects us from harmful solar
radiation. Not even it protects us but first of all it keeps us alive.
How did
atmosphere emerge? One would say it was from ever, but it's
impossible. It all started about 4.6 milliard years ago when our Earth
was formed and it was emergeing compact core surronded by cloud of
space gases.
Emerged athmosphere was mainly composed from hydrogen,
dioxide and carbon monoxide. While Earth started to coagulate there
emerged new athmosphere in result of huge volcanos eruptions. Volcano's
gases enriched existing atmosphere in new compounds like nitric oxide,
sulphur monoxide, hydrogen monoxide and water vapour. While Earth was
still getting colder it became water vapour condensation which was high
acidity. Inequality of terrain were full of water createing lakes and
seas. While in oceans appeared first plants they started to give back
oxygen to atmosphere in photosintesis process. That's how diatomic
molecule of oxygn emerged, which under the influence of UV solar
radiance changed into triatomic molecule - ozone. That mortal for all
beings radiance had no chance to reach
surface of Earth because it was
"expolited" for makeing ozone. It gave oportunity for liveing organism
to evolution merely 10 meters under the water surface. Atmosphere were
changeing all the time while the content of oxygen rise to 1% and
protective sea's layer decrese from 10 m to 30 cm what gave oportunity
multicell oragnism to evolution. Changes in atmosphere still take
place. Nowdays human makes big polution. Exhaust are wastes which
disturb atmosphere's balance. They act like shield which stops infrared
radiance and reflect it back up to Earth's surface. It cause greenhouse
effect which is nothing more than increaseing global Earth's
temperature caused by inprisoning by shields of warm gathered in
atmosphere. Cause of this is increase of airways diseases and skin
cancer because of harmful UV radiance which is pushing through damaged
ozone layer.Earth's atmosphere stretchs from its surface and
fluently becomes cosmic space. It divides in four coats.
Troposphere- first, the closest layer from Earth it has the
biggest thickness and it is the thinest it has just 12
km over Earth.
In it the weather is formed. The down piece is a part of Biosphere.
stratosphere- it stretches up to high of 50 km over the Earth's surface
and temperature in down piece is about 55 C. It increase with
height in result of warm which is emited by ozon. Mezosphere- it
stretchs up to about 50-70 km, big temperature decrease is
characterystic for this layer- about - 90 C. In its area there is
menopause, which is the coldest layer. There emerge clouds build of ice
crystals called silver clouds and they are able to see only when sun
goes down and sun rays iluminate them from the bottom. Thermosphere-
the most loose layer, temperature can achieve even 1200 C at the hight
of 480 km. Its build of ionsphere and magnetosphere. In ionsphere
radiance cause phenomenon ionization- aurora. Ionsphere reflects radio
radiance and stops them from achieving upper parts of atmosphere. It
alowes sending radio waves for long distance. Atmosphere is our protect
umbrella against sun activity. It's well-known thet our activity is
bringing atmosphere to demage nad farthermore we gona be ill more and
more often. Is this too late? I think there is never too late to stop
our bad activity and start to care about our sensitive gas shield.
