Dissolved
oxygen, Biochemical oxygen
demand and
chemical oxygen demand are three variables which are studied independently in the study of physico-chemical properties of
water samples. The above three
parameters directly or indirectly depend on oxygen budget of the water sample. The attempt of this paper is to study the statistical relationship between the three parameters and also to derive regression
models to find value of one variable in presence of the other two. Models have been developed which explain the variables Dissolved oxygen, Biochemical oxygen demand and Chemical oxygen demand upto 58, 94 and 93% respectively.
