system will alert them of any obstacle in their path. The Safety Guard for the Blind comprises of IR transmitter,Proximity
sensor,Voice processor and a memory chip to store details.The Transmitter sends the rays which fall on the object and upon reflection is sensed by the receiver.This event is processed by the Micro
controller which intimates the blind person of the obstacle through the head phone.Inductive Proximity Sensors are used to detect the presence of metal objects which come within range of their oscillating field.Proximity Sensor signals the user when the IR fails.There is also a provision for the memory log which is used for prediction as well as well as viewing the time at which the object was detected.Also,a separate voice message is played back through ear phone to intimate the blind about the obstacle.
