DYNAMICS TESTS OF STEEL PILES IN ARGILACEOUS SOILS TO MILITARY AMMUNITIONS SHELTERS.
Is necessary in the monolithic structures putted in weak soils, the use of deep foundations, work under point strenght, in substituition to plate shallows one?
This article attempts to a description of the dynamic tests realized in steel piles putted in argillaceous soils to make a foundation of a military construction.
During the operation, three tests are realized in steel piles submitted in different axial loadings. These tests are realized under the dynamic loading, applying different energies, varying the distance fall of the hammer, obtaining different vertical displacements until the generating of the relation stress x strain.
Paralleling of this relation, were verified maximum tensile and compressive stresses applied in these piles. These field datum are obtained under the CASE Methodology, considering maximums values resulted of the mobilize maximums loads observed. A numerical computer formulation called of CAPWAP program was used to threat the field datuns to obtain some characteristics values of both materials used (pile and soil).
