Compulsory
environmental auditing is a tool that is recently being incorporated to the environmental licensing system for
effective or potential polluting
activities of the state of Paraná.
With the lack of auditing criteria, defined by the activities types and previously established by the responsible
environmental agencies, this research aims the definition of auditing criteria and the developing of a check-list for specific use of environmental auditing in sugar and alcohol industries operating in the state of Paraná.
The product of this research can be used as a tool for auditing conduction and registration, so that the requirements defined in the State Law n.º 13.448, January 11th, 2002, and the State Decree n.º 2.076, November 7th, 2003 are respected.The provided check list must not be taken as a final tool.
The check-list should correspond with the way in which the auditor has decided to organize the audit.
