Use
in building suspended ceiling somehow that ceiling join neighbour room and
partition is mounted up to suspended
ceiling may significant decrease room to
room sound insulation. In this paper are presented test method of estimation
room to room sound insulation for suspended ceilings. Measurement stand using
to estimation this acoustical parameter are characterised on example Department
of Acoustics of Building Research Institute. Principles of estimating influence
of suspended ceilings on acoustical insulation between rooms are discussed. It
is taken into account both formulas given in PN – EN 12354 – 1:2002 and methods
of estimating elaborated by Building Research Institute. It is given examples
of calculating and results of measurements carried out in building.
