Based
on the origin - destination surveys carried on national and
voivodeship roads
network, relationships of
through traffic volume and parameters of urban areas
have been estimated. Estimation were carried for three categories of vehicles
separately: cars, light goods vehicles and heavy lories vehicles and two types
of entrance roads. For all categories of vehicles and types of roads (except
heavy lories traffic in
voivodeship entrance roads), regression functions were derived.
Sufficient level of
correlation relationship between volume of through traffic
on entrance sections and parameters of urban areas were confirmed by
correlation factors.
