In
the paper
investigation potassium water glass as a Portland cement admixture
were carried out. Different kind
of cement end water glass types were tested.
The
investigation scope covered physical proprieties end heat of hydration
measurements of the Portland cement with water glass admixture. It was stated
that the
potassium water glass accelerate hardening end reduce setting times of
the Portland cement. Like to accelerators admixture potassium water glass
generates high early strength of cement end decreases cement strength during
long period of the hardening process.
