Numerical
analysis of the
stability of sewer liner model has been presented in the paper.
The aim of the analysis
was to compare results generated by plane and spatial
solutions concerning stability of shell in rigid boundary subject to
non-uniform circumferential pressure. Significant raise of the critical
circumferential pressure was observed for the spatial model in comparison with
the plane one. A linear multiplying factor for the critical pressure was
determined and incorporated as a
modification of the
analytical plane model
solution. The modification makes the analytical solution approach the
laboratory test results and significantly improve accuracy of the entire
solution.
