A
least square method is applied to formulation of
identification problem of
structure. As the objective function
sum of square of difference between the
state variable measured and defined by the structure model is assumed. In the
optimization problem obtained the
sensitivity analysis is utilized to obtain a
direct relation of the state variable to the structure parameters. The solution
of the problem allows obtaining the model parameters sought. A numerical
example dealing with
identification of flexural stiffness a tower structure is
presented. The free vibration frequencies are assumed to be the design
variables, which are determined by experiment.
