Steel
structures are erected from assembly steelworks fabricated in factories with
accuracy, specified in relevant
standard <1>. The same standard specifies the
permitted erection deviations. Process of erection and resulting geometry of
the structure depend on permitted fabrication deviations of steelworks. Two
kinds of erection states and resulting models of the structures: model with
clearances in the assembly joint and model without clearances, are presented in
the article. The stress and
displacement sensitivity analysis of the two-storey
frame has been carried on to show the influence of the forcing of the
connection fitting during the structure erection. The change of stresses and
displacements (in percents) has been calculated for the example frame.
