Special Relativity Great Mistakes

Book Summary by: Indranil

Original Author: Barun Ananda Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D.
As the chapters unfold it slowly dawns that firstly the experiments which were supposed to confirm the special theory of
relativity, are no longer found to be dependable and it finds a new mathematical equation of relative velocity.
The salient features that are concluded are that
1.    The average of to and fro return juourney velocity of light in vacuum with respect to earth in motion is constant, irrespective of direction of motions concerned.
2.    The equation arrieved at provides a new expression for the calculation fo Doppler effect, and it explains the Doppler effect in a com0letely new light and perspective, without involving any dilation of time.
3.    It also provides a new explanation fo the red shift ween with the stars in the cosmos and that in turn brings a big question mark to the big bang theory.
The author concludes by the expectation that this book would remove century old barrier in science that reduced and even blocked further progress in some interesting branches of science.
It is an interesting book that dares to question age old beliefs and tries to clear some of the age old confusions that has intregued the human mind.
