The dark matter is around us, filling large spaces between galaxies, concentrating around them in gigantic clouds.
This affirmation is provided by this young girl of 25 years old, in doctorate student phase of physics particle, at the Montreal’s University. She works in a laboratory, whose project "Picasso", fundamental key element, which is the search for dark matter, component important of our universe, near or far.
The work consists on building a system of several very sensitive detectors, capable of locating very small particles, to prove that the dark matter is really around us.
These detectors are grouped in another laboratory: SNOLAB, located in a mine at 2000 meters deep, in which they become operational. When they detect these particles, many study analysis services, give them a special attention.
I was impressed by the wealth of this article, and the erudition of the person who wrote: I''m sure this project, once completed, and implemented, will be a major part of progress of science in the future.
