A garden is beautiful trees and wonderful birds. Grow garden pet birds for protect environment. Good environment is for the best happy life.
*Birds catching their prey with their beaks or claws eat it by their beaks. They save themselves from their enemies by the help of their beaks and claws. They build their nests by the help of their beaks and claws.
*The fore limbs of the birds are transformed into wings. According to their habitat, nature and living; their hind limbs (legs) are of some special kind. The claw of some main birds is according to their movements and habit of taking food.
*Perching type
Such claws have three fingers at front and one finger on the back side. Such claws are helpful in eating food and catching the branches of the trees strongly; as the claws of sparrow, crow, crow and pigeon.
*Climbing type
Fingers in such claws are in different directions. They help them in catching the prey. These claws help the bird to climb the rough surface of the tree. Example is– the claws of parrot and woodpecker.
*Scratching type
Such type of claws is helpful in scraping any place. Example is-the claws of cocks and hens.
*Raptorial type
Carnivorous birds have such type of claws. They have strong nails and fingers. They catch up their prey strongly and kill them. Example is – the claws of vulture, kite and owl.
*Runner type
Such type claws have three fingers at front side. They help in running fast. Example is- the claws of ostrich, kiwi and penguin.
*Swimming type
Such type of claws have lobbed and webbed fingers. They have three fingers at front and one finger on back side. Fingers on front side have a very soft web. It helps the birds in swimming by pushing water on either side. Example is –the claws of duck and swan.
*Wading type
The bones of toes and soles are long. The toes flat too, they give help to the birds to stand on marshes and water –plants with comfort. These claws do not sink in mud. Example is –the claws of harren, kingfisher and stork.
