The following paper examines how the specificity of Frosts' language
allows us to stand in his shoes even as his vision allows us to see a broader landscape. This ability of his to allow us to see both near and far is discussed with reference to two of his best-known poems, "The Road Not Taken" and "After Apple Picking".
