In John III, John, reminds the Christians “ to walk in the
truth of God and to
bear witness of their love before the
church; and you will do well to send strangers on their way in a manner worthy of God.”
Because John is concerned about a person in the Church named Demetrius “has received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself; and we also bear witness and you know that our witness is true”
Interesting that he said “I had many things to
write to you but I am not willing to write them to you with pen but “I hope to see you shortly to speak
face to face
He ends his book with the same greeting often heard and spoken today: “Peace be unto you.”
