The six books
published

The sixth, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is set to begin filming in September 2007, and has a scheduled release of 21 November 2008. In 1997, author J K Rowling published the first book in the Potter series Harry Potter And The Philosopher''s Stone.Six books, 325 million copies in over 63 languages and five films grossing over many million dollars later the world is now eagerly awaiting Judgement Day.Come July 21 and the final book of the series Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows will once and for all put to rest every Potter fan''s suspense. But the Harry Potter cult is no longer constrained only to the literary world. With over 89,600,000 sites dedicated to Harry Potter and around 49,500,000 Potter blog sites in all - the boy wizard has his very own virtual magical world online. The online Potter fans community also buzzing through chat rooms discuss in intricate detail both the wizard''s print and onscreen avatar. The most popular of these being the-leaky-cauldron.org which comes with a second by second countdown to the release of the final book and fifth film.Says Rowling, "What''s more also making rounds on the Internet are unofficial versions of what is believed to be the original manuscript of Book Seven- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Anonymous mails claim this to have been leaked to netizens."So if you can''t seem to wait to get your hands on the next Harry Potter book or your eyes on the next Harry Potter film- check out the Internet.
