Socrates and Justice in Plato's Republic

Book Review by: AcaDemon

This paper explores Socrates attempt to define the ideal city, hoping within it to discover the form of justice itself. The
author takes the reader through critical points in this book and shows us how no Apollonian dedication to the things of the mind, nor virgin dedication to warfare and the ways of the hunt, could truly save Socrates' city from the uprising of its youth.
