The author of
Turtle Dolphin Dreams is best known for her efforts to improve the quality of life for
individuals using Applied Metapsychological methods and techniques. In her recent
book, Life Skills: Improve the Quality of Your Life with Metapsychology, the author presented a variety of methods and techniques designed to teach individuals about themselves and about how they as individuals react to other individuals and the world around themselves. Turtle Dolphin Dreams shares several mutual and complementary aims with the author’s past work. In this book, as in her previous work, the author asks the
reader to look both inside and outside of him or herself not only to learn to accept him or herself as an individual but also to remind him or herself how he or she fits into this world as a whole. Likewise, in this new book, the reader is also encouraged to dream and to seek out these dreams. Nonetheless, there are several new and very entertaining aspects in the author’s latest book. Turtle Dolphin Dreams is a fictional story written from the perspective of a turtle. This particular turtle, named Turtledove, reflects on his dreams, on the dreams he has shared with dolphins, and on the lack of such dreams in humans. Turtledove also examines the different views of play in these different communities. This book is really beautiful, inspirational, and craftfully written. It contains a great deal of incite that is presented in such an entertaining way that the reader takes in the information without putting up usual emotional barriers. Moreover, this book leaves the reader with a deep feeling of connection with the world and a strong belief in hope for the future.
