To the
outside world Wayne looks like a
normal well adjusted
guy. He goes out with his buddies after
work and has a few beers. He laughs at his boss’ stupid jokes and takes crap at work without the least bit of outward anger or distress. Or so it would seem. The real story is that Wayne sees the hypocrisy of the world and it is slowly eating away at him. Finally, in a well thought out, sane, almost scientific way, he comes up with an experiment. This experiment involves a young girl who he draws into his web of deceit, gains her trust, and then abducts. Keeping her like a pet. Quits is chilling and
quite unnerving. I recently reviewed another one of the author’s works, Pervalism. This work actually gave me nightmares. The author certainly has a way of making the characters appear so normal to the outside world that they could easily be your colleague, your
best friend, or that nice guy down the street. Hidden beneath is some thing quite different, however. I think Wayne describes himself best.“I am normal, you know. I just entertain my thoughts a little more than the average Joe.”
