The poet Pablo Neruda is renown for his exploration of
themes of
love within his poetry. These themes of love range from the traditional portrays of
passion to representations of political commitment. This paper critically assesses Neruda's
poems of love in respect to the themes that are manifest within his presentation of love, where he argues that emotion and passion allows the individual to better experience life.
