Four
children anxiously await their twelfth
birthday. Myra lives in Florida, loves the sea, and swears she can hear the dolphins
talking to her. Porter’s best friend is a grey wolf by the name of Hero. This fact is made all the more peculiar by the fact that wolves have been extinct for centuries in the boy’s home of Scotland. Regan lives in Hawaii. She once had a strange accident where she fell into lava and came out without even a blister. Finally, Airon in is Colorado. Apart from having a great golden eagle as a friend and the ability to control the wind, he is a pretty typical twelve year old boy. On their twelfth
birthday, these four
children will learn that they have a very special connection to each other. This new knowledge will trust them all into a world they could never have imagined and danger beyond even their worst nightmares. I’ve been aching to read some really good fantasy and SeaReach: Power of the Waves definitely didn’t disappoint me. I was enthralled from the first page to the last. The characters were interesting and well developed. The storyline was active and fresh. My only problem with this story is that the second book in the series is not yet out and I really want to find out what happens next.
