The Brothers Gallagher is the story of a man searching for a new life. Reeling from a recent divorce, Terence Gallagher,
a physics
professor at Cal-Tech, takes a
teaching assignment at Frazier College. Teaching at Frazier College was a family affair. Terry''s brother Larry III was a current physics professor at Frazier College. The siblings'' father had also been a professor at the college. In fact, Terry''s father Larry Jr. had been heartbroken when Terry had taken a teaching position at Cal-Tech instead of teaching side by side with his father and his brother. Going back home is weird for Terry but his journey becomes much weirder. It seems that a colleague of Terry''s brother had discovered time travel. Immediately, Terry rationalizes that his marriage could have been saved if only he''d had more money. Perhaps, if he changes his ancestors'' past, Terry can change his present. The Brothers Gallagher is both entertaining and intelligent. The story is filled with ongoing action with the right amount of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing and turning pages. The characters are very well developed with all of the appealing personality traits and flaws of real people. A real feel good story about connecting to family and finding your true self.
