Tourism location consists of
resource location,market location and
traffic location.As for the resource location,
Fenghuang,the famous historic and cultural city of China,forms a kind of characteristic and reciprocal relationship with other famous
Tourism resorts in border
area of Hunan,Hubai,Chongqing,Guizhou such as Zhangjiajie and Fanjingshan.However,it is in a
disadvantage situation on the market location and traffic location because it is situated on the border and backward mountain area.On the basis of analyzing these location conditions,the author believes if Fenghuang wants to maintain a sustainable development,more attention must be paid on three points as following: first,excavating trait from the tourism resource and using the South Great Wall as clue and bond to integrate the three kinds of cultural landscapes in Fenghuang and to create popular brand on tourism of
the Great Wall culture in China;second,reinforcing the contact with Zhangjiajie and Fanjingshan in order to make the three tourism resorts completely display the special natural scene and historical culture of Wulin Mountain from different aspects according to their individual characteristic,and collaborating to create "Attractive tourism on Wulin Mountain";finally,improving the disadvantage transport location by expediting the traffic construction and upgrading the way of Fenghuang's external relation.
