The following is a proposal for competing with larger stores such as Wal-Mart and K Mart. This proposal is designed for smaller
retail stores and discusses the advantages as well as
disadvantages that the larger stores experience. It goes on to discuss just how a smaller retail store can take
advantage of the disadvantages of the larger chains as well as take advantage of their strengths. Areas discussed include product knowledge, service, inventory management, and marketing.
