paper explores the Watson Pharmacy group as an
organization ready for e-
business with the tools needed to implement this type of
strategy or e-strategy. The paper contends that the implementation of an e-business can be an especially daunting task as many elements warrant analysis in order to construct a feasible plan. In today's global marketplace, it is necessary to introduce the concepts of e-business and e-commerce for a company to survive the competition. Factors such as flexibility, creativity, openness to use of technology and innovations, communication across the organization, and talented employees are important for competitive advantage.
