Dentists and health care workers in general find themselves in unfamiliar territory when it comes to
dealing with
patients and
employees who are
infected with HIV/AIDS. This is especially true when dealing with current and future employees covered under the Americans With Disabilities Act. This paper reviews cases in federal and state courts as well as a case in Florida in which a HIV positive dentist infected six of his patients with the virus.
