This paper examines how Malaysia, India and the Philippines are
dealing with
digital divide, how Thailand, India and China are dealing with exclusion by language and how Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam and Singapore are dealing with cultural pollution. Through a comparative
study, it shows the governments of the above mentioned
countries are heavily involved in trying to do away with the negative impacts of the Internet that plague their countries.
