The High Tech industry has had a profound effect on the
economic development of Israel. With more than 60% of the export
based on the High Tech
industry the government has taken Israel straight into the 21st century. This paper describes the effect of the high tech industry on the economy of Israel and the drawbacks that are slowing the industry down.
