This
paper briefly addresses the need for a process for making
ethical decisions in companies and organizations. It goes on to examine the
ethics statement offered by the American Association for State and Local History and uses it as an example for a company
Ethic statement. Finally, this paper analyzes some of the shortcomings of the ethic statement and provides some suggestions for improvement.
