This paper examines how
neoplastic cells have a wide range of
mechanisms available to them in the process of
metastasis and invasion and how such techniques include both individual cell
movement and
collective cell
migration strategies. It also looks at how the ability for
cancer cells to modify their migration mechanisms has resulted in a significant decrease in efficacy of anti cancer therapeutics designed against target adhesion receptors and proteases.
