ABSTRACT
Mobile devices are carrying ever more personal
information including address books, schedules and payment
information. The ability to recognize and verify the
authenticity of the user through face
recognition is meant
to contribute to greater security and safety for mobile
devices, and the information they contain, in the future.
This Paper is an
application which detects side faces based
on scale space approach for the mobile NOKIA 6600. This
application includes capturing images from onboard mobile
camera, saving and retrieving of images using record
management system and recognition of side faces. This work
contributes to the mobile users in organizing their mobiles
with greater security and avoids unauthorized or proxy
usage of their mobile phones. This work is very much
related to mobile learning and mobile organization.
