This paper argues that the relationship between an
environment and its diseases that occur within it are not static over
time. The paper discusses
infectious diseases, non-vectored diseases, and deficiency diseases. AIDS is given as an example of how a disease that was once a major problem in North America is now a major problem in Africa.
