The

using several caves including the Oregon National Caves, Carlsbad, the caves of France and the
Kartchner Caverns in Arizona as examples. The negative impacts are discussed at length as well as some of the positive sides to
using the natural settings as tourist attractions. The
author also touches on the area of preservation and allows a discussion about what is being done to prevent erosion.
