This paper explains that one of the roles of
park rangers and game wardens is to act as a law enforcement officer. The author points out that a major feature of the job is its
variety, which means that there really are no 'typical' days. The author relates that a
key aspect of the
working conditions is that a park
ranger generally spends the majority of their time
outdoors, which is often mentioned as one of the key benefits of being a park ranger; however, it should be remembered that working outside on a long-term basis is not always as great as it initially sounds. Table of Contents Duties of a Park Ranger/Game
