Layer or AAL, the AAL Model Segmentation and Reassembly sub-layer and the Higher Layer Protocols for control, management and application. The author points out that the ATM technology is a very detail oriented and maybe the most
complex technology ever created in the current technologically driven society. The paper relates that the
network-to network cell is used to define the interface between nodes throughout a network's switches or between two or more unique networks.
